Let's see, so... the past Tuesday at work, I was assigned by Guna, the Associate Dean for Research of the Engineering building, to help him with a large field research project he's working on. Since it's outside of the office, he will pay for my extra hours. We became acquaintance when I helped making several flyers for him last semester, and since the Associate Dean and I got along well. The past weeks, I told him that my boss hasn't assigned me any projects yet, and so he decided to change that.

...Hence the research project. Basically, my part is to retrieve articles from local newspapers (5 different subscribers) about the Bay Area 1989 earthquake - Loma Prieta - looking through 10 days span of newspaper after the quake, specifically articles on damages of schools, private, and community colleges.

Uh, yeah. Past days, 1researching. Grr, why does this project have to be assigned to me now when it's over half way into July? Not to mention it sounds urgent. But when he says things like, "I don't work with people I don't trust," and smiling, how can I half-ass the research =[]=!? This is more research than my whole 2nd year semesters combined.

Gah, neck and back hurts.

I bring a long fic, a short fic, and a medium-length parody. Everything is PG, but may contain tentacles.
